Our “Build Up” Programme

Build Up is a development programme. It was launched in 2015 for our “100 Young Engineers – Tomorrow’s Builders” project. It is a career path that favours the induction of these young engineers within our Company. It speeds up their learning process, in terms of knowledge of our organisation and in professional terms. It promotes individual skills and competencies, so that these young people can begin their international career in the construction sector.  

Through this Build Up programme Salini Impregilo allows its junior profiles to embark on a structured professional path that will make them one day our future Managers. It confirms our Group's vocation for excellence and for investing in human capital, in order to grow in the future.

The programme is composed of an inter-functional rotation scheme in our Group's projects and sites, of training-on the-job activities, of a specific development and online social learning programme and of an assessment and monitoring process, to promote the acquisition of the skills we require to cover future key roles within our Group.

During 2015, this programme provided more than 100,000 hours of on-the-job training activities and tutoring activities and more than 1,000 hours of e-learning training.
