Greatly expanding world market for infrastructure in the coming years

By 2030, the world market for large infrastructure is seen growing quickly, faster than that of global GDP. Driving this growth will be mainly the US, China and India. The forecast was made by Oxford Economics and Global Construction Perspectives in its "Global Construction 2030” report.

Andrea Goldstein, Economist
“It is reasonable to expect the world economy to grow by some 3% per annum to 2030.”
Allen Sinai, Economist
“It is reasonable to expect the world economy to grow by some 3% per annum to 2030.”
Angel Gurria, Economist & Diplomatic
“This is the moment of mature markets, with America and Europe in the lead.”
Parag Khanna, Global Strategist
"Cities are the infrastructures that most define us. By 2030, more than two thirds of the world's population will live in cities. And these are not mere little dots on the map, but they are vast archipelagos stretching hundreds of kilometers."

Market

The forecasts were made while taking into account the medium- to long-term macroeconomic scenarios in each geographic area as well as the expected growth in the infrastructure sector, which at the global level is seen acquiring an accumulated value of $30 trillion by 2020.

The US market opportunity

The US is one of our pillars for future growth.

US Congress passed FAST ACT, a bill of $305 billion in investments in transport infrastructure over the next five years.
