The Janske Lazne Pediatric Hospital, located in Krkonose area (Giants Mountains), was inaugurated in spring 1981.
The hospital, that can accommodate 270 beds, is meant for the children up to 15 years who are suffering from poliomyelitis, myopaty, movement difficulties in consequence of trouble of the central nervous system, and children convalescent from infantile cerebral poliomyelitis, surgical operations to the movement apparatus, accidents and burns.
The complex, completely self-sufficient, includes in-patient wards, medical examinations rooms, bathing therapy and rehabilitation rooms, kitchen and dining rooms, a primary school, a kindergarten, meeting and education rooms, administrative offices, technical and utility installations.

Primary school, meeting room with cinema, bedrooms for children from 6 to 10 years.
Bedrooms for invalid children from 6 to 10 years and from 10 to 15 years, dining rooms for children from 6 to 15 years.
Wards for babies up to 3 years, with its milk kitchen, wards for children from 3 to 6 years, play rooms and laboratories for the kindergarten, dining room, rehabilitation ward.
Wards for girls from 10 to 15 years and meeting rooms.

Lifts’ engine room and technical installations for the air conditioning.
