The project entails the building of a stretch of the Inner Southern Expressway (ISEX) in the city centre of Abuja. The new section, about 4 Km in length and 80 m in width, presents 4 intersections with existing roads. In addition to concrete-based works needed for the construction of bridges and viaducts, there will be considerable work involved in relocating existing underground services (drains, sewers, aqueducts, cable ducts).
